Comic chat
What? Wait, is this seriously only the fourth comic I’ve done this year? *looks back a bit* I really only got round to making and uploading a mere four comics for 2009?! Blah, no wonder I only have a few readers. There are some webcomics that have done even less, but four in a year is pathetic compared to others. I’z sad now, maow…
Anyway, ignoring that, Merry Christmas everyone! Due to my current slump in finding time to get on with the comics, I decided to bash out a seasonal one for the fun of it and because the odd reader requested it too, hee.
Kuro seems to be taking the role of evil Santa again, this time with several spabbits acting as his reindeer. Our Lapin seems to have snuck on the back there though. Kuro’s bad spelling/grammar is displayed right at the top there.
Jethro’s picking up on the fact that it hasn’t been that many pages since the last Christmas special despite it being years ago. This is Automatic Freestyle, that’s how we roll.
As with the last three years, I’m looking forward to the Christmas special episode of Doctor Who (even though it marks the end of David Tenant’s run). Marc’s reference is to these episodes that have happened at the end of each TV season as the Doctor can time travel and basically ‘makes’ Christmas happen once a season to coincide with Christmas in the real world. Even Marc saying “Oh yes!” is a head-nod towards one of the current Doctor’s often used phrases which I seem to have picked up.
Then we have Shiro replacing the common angel (or star) on top of the Christmas tree and lookit, he has that random halo back. I had been tempted to have him tied up and gagged on the tree (due to Kuro), but thought it looked better just having him appear puzzled up there.
All done using one pencil with varying pressure before adding some old snow-scene photos from around the university I attended.

Stuff and things
The rough scripts and sketches for Automatic Freestyle still haven’t been fully sorted but at least I got a bit of a start on them all, it’s really in such a state. Maybe I’ll have more chance in the Christmas and New Year holiday.
Quick recap of life in general since the last update;
